Inkaar is a film which contributes in showcasing  the working style, environment and ethics of  advertising realm . It is said that No world, No realm and no field is perfect, in the same context neither is Advertising field , There is no place for Saints in advertising they say. Inkaar is about a  story  that orbits  around a sexual harassment case in one of the leading advertising firm , amongst the Mentor  , the C.E.O  Rahul played by ( Arjun Rampal ) v/s his Pupil , the National Head  Maya played by  (Chitrangada Singh).   The sexual harassment allegation by Maya against Rahul  falls frail, because in the world of advertising where calling your colleague hot is a compliment, Pinching their butt is joke and dating them is casual .On the other side Rahul rationalizes his action and his words as normal norms of the advertising world and accuse Maya for using him  as ladder for her benefits to climb the hierarchy from an underline employee to the National Head of the company , What trails  are the events of proving  oneself as prey and the other to be the predator , All the events  are woven splendidly  into a justifying  climax .  The story has its own magic, but the screenplay fails to create the sympathy to Maya’s characters at times and the arguments about Sexual Harassment are handled lightly .  Arjun Rampal in the role of Rahul the C.E.O shows and proves his growth as an Actor; he definitely needs applaud for this work. Chitrangada Singh as Maya has developed a habit of taking her acting into the skin of the character and doing justice to it. The talented actor Deepti Navalkar just passes of as an average actor in the role of the Evaluator or Judge, as the story doesn’t give much breathing space for the character. Kanwaljit Singh as Rahul’s Father has brief role but makes it notable.  Although being a non-linear storytelling, Sudhir Mishra knows his craft very well, and has wonderfully handled and presented the story with ease, which makes it understandable to mass audience as well. The Art Direction is average, could have done better in the conference room where the whole drama unfolds. The Music by Shantanu Mohitra  amplify the scenes and story to greater high.   The Cinematography and Editing are upto the point which only helps to take the story forward.
